Lordship Salvation Doctrine

Paul said this in Galatians 1

6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Now if any many add anything to the Gospel of Jesus Christ let him be accursed.

Working in the Harvest

I'm considering some big changes. I've found I don't only need to rely on Him, I can. He's faithful. After over a year and a half of watching my life be pulled apart by people unseen I'm beginning to suspect another reason for all of this. I had been cruising along, doing well at my job. Progressing and moving on to a better position where I'd have more responsibility and all that goes with that. That had been what I was working toward for years.

It seems my motivations have changed. I'm "in a different place" as people sometimes say. What was important before no longer really is. But now, yes now that I know I can trust Him, now I might really have to trust Him. I'm thinking of changing industries. I'm working with an incredible project with seemingly endless potential (The Cross Current) and the more time I spend in that arena the less I want to go back to the old life.

I haven't had any time to be posting here. But this is where my walk is right now. I'm realizing that God is answering prayer I've had for a couple of years now and I'm seeing that His answers will require faith and trust. I'm not sure how to proceed, but I do believe slowly and as prompted will be the best way for now.

Are You Stardust?

I can't say it any better than this quote from the article I'm going to link so.

Whoops! It’s time (again) to revise official evolutionary estimates of the age of the universe. As one news agency reported, ‘the earth and in fact the universe are a few billion years older than anybody realized.’ Given that each revision is touted as ‘fact,’ has anybody wondered how such claims can be taught as science? Adding to the hyperbole, a leading astronomer reiterates that humans are nothing more than stardust. But what are the facts? To understand the paradigms behind such thinking, read Dr David Catchpoole’s article Are you stardust?

Fred Sanders Totally Finds Jesus' Grave

I think it's most honest of Fred to admit he's no dig-up-stuffologist. But you know even baring that in mind I think you'll find his evidence... well compelling.

Thanks Fred for sharing this with the world!!

Writing

Wow what a busy time of year it's been. I've been writing some episodes of The Cross Current Radio with the Host, Cory McKenna. I've also finally gotten back into some song writing. It's been a long time for that. Now normally a season of good song writing comes from sorrow but I'm actually pretty happy right now. Just tired.

If you know the Lord would you offer prayer for rest and restoration?

I really want to take another course at BBNBI. The next one I want to take is on Paul's letter to the Galatians. That's a foundational book, second only to Romans in my opinion. Oh I've also updated my computer and hopefully will be in a position to get some of these new songs recorded soon. What does soon mean? It means when God allows it. :)
